Using overglazes such as lusters, Vimeo, oven treatments, China paints and other mediums, we’ll explore the advantages and limitations of each material.
Each participant will be given a tile already fired with cone 5 clear glaze, and will have a chance to experiment with the materials available.
The workshop will be on Sunday, February 22, at Monroe ClayWorks. There will be a short CCCG meeting at 2 pm with Susan’s workshop as soon as the meeting is over. This is a demonstration and hands-on workshop so reservations are required.
Too reserve your space please email Barbara Reeley at claywomn@aol.com. There is no cost to CCCG members for this workshop. Non-members cost is $25.
