AN IMPROMPTU SLAB TANDOOR

Paul came buy Monroe ClayWorks and Northeast Ceramics today to buy some K6 clay and talk to Barbara Reeley about making an Indian tandoor.

Paul had never worked in clay but had an adventuresome nature and wanted to give making a tandoor a try.  As the discussion progressed, Barbara blurted our, “Let’s just do it!”

Bonnie Richter, a MCW instructor was up for the task and guided Paul through the process which I captured on video.

This incident just exemplifies the warm caring nature of Monroe Clayworks and its emphasis on community and learning together.  Kudos to Paul, Bonnie, Barbara Reeley, and BTC for this amazing and impromptu collaboration!
